Job Title: Health & Safety Manager (Leasehold / Block Management)

Overview:
A respected property management company based in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee compliance across its residential leasehold and block management portfolio.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of H&S requirements in residential property management who wants to play a key role in shaping and maintaining best practice standards across the business.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead on all Health & Safety matters relating to the company’s managed blocks and estates

Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the portfolio

Ensure compliance with fire safety, building safety, and health regulations

Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and local authorities where necessary

Provide guidance and training to property managers and site staff

Maintain and update company H&S policies, procedures, and documentation

Advise on Building Safety Act requirements and ensure ongoing compliance
Requirements:

Proven experience in leasehold or block management

Recognised NEBOSH qualification (Diploma or General Certificate minimum)

Strong understanding of fire and building safety in residential property

Excellent communication and reporting skills

Confident working both independently and as part of a wider management team

Full UK driving licence (travel to sites required)
