Job Title: Health & Safety Manager (Leasehold / Block Management)

Overview:
A respected property management company based in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee compliance across its residential leasehold and block management portfolio.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of H&S requirements in residential property management who wants to play a key role in shaping and maintaining best practice standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on all Health & Safety matters relating to the company’s managed blocks and estates

  • Conduct regular audits, inspections, and risk assessments across the portfolio

  • Ensure compliance with fire safety, building safety, and health regulations

  • Liaise with external consultants, contractors, and local authorities where necessary

  • Provide guidance and training to property managers and site staff

  • Maintain and update company H&S policies, procedures, and documentation

  • Advise on Building Safety Act requirements and ensure ongoing compliance

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leasehold or block management

  • Recognised NEBOSH qualification (Diploma or General Certificate minimum)

  • Strong understanding of fire and building safety in residential property

  • Excellent communication and reporting skills

  • Confident working both independently and as part of a wider management team

  • Full UK driving licence (travel to sites required)
